We have endeavoured to ensure that parents with more than one child have opportunity to attend at least part of the session with each teacher but in some cases, this might not be possible.  We therefore recommend that you attend the session of the Class Teacher with which you are less familiar.

Parent Staff Association (PSA) Annual General Meeting

The first meeting of the PSA will be held on MS Teams at 18:15 New members are very much welcomed to support the work of this small but highly effective group in raising funds to enable the purchase of additional learning resources for our pupils.  Any amount of help is gratefully received.

Meeting for the parents of pupils in the Reception Class - ‘The Teaching of Reading at Malpas Park Primary School’ via MS Teams; link to be sent out in advance.

Show Racism the Red Card Awareness Day

Pupils to wear red clothing to school as a statement and for discussion of ‘showing the red card’; as much red clothing as possible! This could be non-uniform red clothing or school uniform sweatshirt with even more red!

Friday 12th

Remembrance Day Service at 09:15 for the pupils in Year 3 to Year 6.

Video of the event released to parents and/or live-stream via the school’s YouTube Channel; confirmation to follow.

Children to wear blue clothes to school on Thursday 18th November.

Lower FP (Nursery and Reception) Christmas Production at 10:00

Upper FP (Year 1 and Year 2) Christmas Production at 13:45

Videos of the performances will be released to parents once edited as invited audiences are unlikely.  Pupils may be able to perform in front of another year group audience but this will be dependent upon Operation Guidance later in the Autumn Term.

School Closed – holiday day for all schools in the Newport High School Cluster, in lieu of the Platinum Jubilee in June 2022 which falls during the Spring Half-term Break
